Independence Sinfonia Conert

The Independence Sinfonia, in its 19th Season and 2nd Season at Congregation Or Hadash, presents its first concert of 2014-15.  Maestro Jerome Rosen will lead us in a performance of Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture, based on the Shakespeare tragedy, followed by Wagner’s Sigfried Idyll, a charming chamber piece that Wagner wrote as a birthday present for his wife Cosima after the birth of their son Sigfried. The second half of the concert features Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 9, known as the Great Symphony.

The concert will take place on Sunday,  November 2, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary of Or Hadash.  Tickets are general admission.  The cost is $15 for adult, $10 for seniors 62 and up, and $10 for full-time students with id.  A limited number of discounted tickets are available to Or Hadash congregants at the Or Hadash office.
