Giving Opportunities

While dues and tuition cover the majority of the tangible present-day costs, it is through the generosity of our members that we are able to provide a wide range of programming and services that are consistent with our values of inclusion, caring, kindness, spiritual growth, and life-long learning.

There are a variety of funds at Or Hadash that have been formed to fulfill a particular need or realize a cherished value, such as Legacy for Learning, Rabbi's Discretionary Fund, Building Fund, Torah Fund, Life Cycle Garden, Library Fund, Scholar-in-Residence, and our School. In addition, the Or Hadash community has rallied to meet specific fundraising needs for the outside community, such as to raise money for the crisis in Darfur, to help build a house for Habitat for Humanity, or to help fill food pantries that feed those who don't have the means to feed themselves.

If you have any questions about fundraising, please contact our synagogue administrator, Office@orhadash.com, or use the “Donate Now” button.

If you would like to order one or more bricks for the Life Cycle Garden, or donate prayer books, please send in the order forms below.

You can also sponsor an oneg or kiddush for $54 - great way to commemoriate a special birthday, anniversary or graduation.  Please call our Kitchen Committee chair, Michelle Smithman, at 215-641-4646 for details.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!
