Get in on the Spirit of Shabbat at Or Hadash
It's great to take a deep breath at the end of a long week and create a separation between the week and the weekend. That's what Friday night Shabbat rituals help us do, create a Shabbat frame of mind. How we get to that frame of mind is probably different for each of us, but for many it may include some version of a relaxed evening meal with friends, lots of talking and kibitzing, and some Shabbat rituals.
The service is intended for those who are seeking physical or emotional healing for themselves or someone they care about. We share inspirational and comforting readings and music and enjoy the warmth and support of our community. The service starts at 7 pm and usually lasts about an hour. No RSVP is necessary and this service is open to all.
